Solunaria was not born in a boardroom. It was born in the quiet moments between long hospital shifts — in the exhaustion of a nurse who has spent her career pouring herself into others, and the fierce, unshakeable love of a mother who refused to stop fighting for more.

Solunaria carries two ancient words inside it.

Sol — the sun. Radiant, bold, life-giving. The part of you that pushes forward, speaks up, takes up space, and refuses to be dimmed. The strength that kept you standing when everything around you fell.

Luna — the moon. Intuitive, cyclical, deeply knowing. The quiet power that moves the tides. The soft, wise part of you that feels everything and survives it. The grace you carry even in grief.

Solunaria is the space where both of those things live — inside you, and in your home. You do not have to choose between strength and softness. You are both. You always have been.

As a nurse, I have sat with people in their most vulnerable moments. I have held hands in grief, celebrated recoveries, and shown up for strangers on the hardest days of their lives. That work has shaped everything about how I see the world — and everything about how I pour these candles.

I know that healing is not linear. I know that rest is not laziness — it is medicine. I know that peace is not a luxury for people who have it easy. It is a survival tool for everyone else.

I did not start this business only for myself. I started it because I have seen, in my career and in my own life, what it looks like when a woman has nothing — and what it looks like when someone shows up for her anyway.

A portion of every Solunaria purchase goes directly to organizations supporting women and children in crisis — women escaping dangerous situations, rebuilding their lives, and learning, slowly, to believe in themselves again.

A MESSAGE FROM THE FOUNDER

This is more than a candle company.

I started Solunaria tired. Tired of struggling. Tired of fighting every day just to make it. And I started it with love — a love so stubborn and so deep that it became something I could pour into a jar and send out into the world.

My hope is that somewhere, a candle from Solunaria finds the person who needs it. Maybe she/he does not even know she/he needs it yet. Maybe the scent reaches her/him at just the right moment. Maybe the words on the package say something she/he has been waiting to hear.

That is what I am here to do. To touch people's souls. To leave a mark — not just with what I have created, but with the love and intention I put into it. To meet you wherever you are on your journey, and remind you of something you may have forgotten:
